Our Tech Entrepreneur Nanodegree program teaches you the skills you need to build your very own business, from ideation to marketing to monetization. Creating a new product is an amazing first step, but how do you then transform it into a stable operation that attracts customers, employees, and investors? Successful Silicon Valley startups like Optimizely and Y Combinator know, because they’ve done it, and that’s why we interviewed them -- and many other significant authors, influencers and venture capitalists -- when we designed this curriculum. Built in close partnership with Google, the Tech Entrepreneur Nanodegree program mixes theory and practice to teach students how to transform their ideas into market-ready products and to how to build sustainable, revenue-generating businesses around those products. Learning to succeed means studying success, and through your coursework and projects you’ll: * Validate your ideas using Google’s Design Sprint process * Evaluate and implement the most effective monetization strategies * Apply design methodologies to build an interactive, data-backed prototype * Create a marketing plan unique to your value proposition * Develop a polished story for your business in a pitch deck, landing page, or video ...And much more As you progress through your Nanodegree program, you’ll learn from expert instructors, benefit from interactive peer discussions, and receive detailed feedback from reviewers every step of the way. If you think starting your own business seems impossible, too difficult, or something only risk-taking, nothing-to-lose visionaries accomplish, think again. It’s all about learning real skills, building real projects, and gaining real experience. That’s how dreams are built, and it starts here.
