Enjoyed the entire Cross Cultural Training Session. After taking part in these sessions, it has allowed me to have a broader understanding of the importance of being AWARE when it comes to others culture, believes, and choices in various areas of life, and to focus on providing a high level of respectful when these choices are being made.

Pros: Interesting topics and I liked the panel talks. The course helps you to think about the questions on deeper level. It is nice to hear what people would say with a different culture background and it actually offered method for better communication.
Cons: Sometimes the host talks a bit too much and feels like he's sort of leading the conversation, as in affecting what people say.

This course had a lot of interesting information that has helped me be more aware, accepting and respectful across the cultural spectrum. I also realized that cultural competency is more than just your race or ethnic background.

It Caused me to think about my own options and assumptions of others based on what I can see. Was glad to know that by my asking about differences that is not always offensive and sometimes the best approach.
