I took this course even though I am somewhat familiar with the material, because I wanted to see the presentation style. Even though the content is very basic, I really liked the style, I think it takes you away from the "maths classroom" and makes you think about DEs as a tool with which to make sense of the rates of change in the world, the math being almost secondary.
This is a very worthy approach and I believe that if it were pursued more, then more interest would be generated in students, as the subject becomes alive and relevant rather than just a collection of meaningless and boring equations in a book. The concept of seeing maxima and minima as attractors and repellers really motivated me (even if *is* obvious in hindsight).
4 stars because I would have like to see more advanced material presented in this way!
