On this course, you’ll find out how and why people program computers.

Using an introductory block-language for coding, you’ll discover the kinds of problems that computers can help you solve.

You’ll also explore different types of coding languages and discover a variety of useful applications of code.

At the end of the course, you’ll implement key principles you’ve learned by writing your first computer programs.

This course is designed for people who have digital skills but would like to build confidence in using digital technology in the workplace.

This may include those studying for A-levels, those who have a degree, or those who want to improve their career prospects.

    If you are a fresh starter this may be for you... but if you go and find some games to learn how to program you'll got the same skills...

    It is a very very beginner level course. I did not get anything from it. There is also a lot of articles inside of it that is not very good unlike videos. The videos are also always buffering, especially in HD, the servers that hosts it seems to not be good, as my internet is fine on other platforms such as Coursera.
    The website is also slow and not all that intuitive, the mark as compeleted button has a slow animation and it constantly changes from completed to uncompleted even after clicked.

    I'd describe this course as an introduction to the mindset necessary for programming. I have enjoyed it, however it does not provide with knowledge about any specific programming language. I am going forward on my journey though and enrolled in a VBA course.
