The course examines the duties and responsibilities of the notary as a public official and provides a comprehensive analysis of the relevant sections of the New York Executive Law, Real Property Law, Banking Law, NY Civil Practice Law and Rules and Public Officers Law pertaining to the Notary. Information will include how to register, what to expect on testing day, proper fees, sample exams and the most recent changes to notary law including remote notarization and new changes starting in 2024.
