This course was fantastic! It was supposed to take six weeks, but I just couldn't stop myself and, before I knew it, I'd finished the whole thing in two sittings! I study a lot of history, and Thomas Jefferson has always been a favorite of mine. Even so, I learned SO much in this course. Plus the lecturer, Mr. Onuf, was engaging, insightful, and very knowledgeable. I give this one two very hearty thumbs up.

Professor Onuf is very knowledgeable on all things Jefferson. I thought the course would be more of a history of Jefferson's life, not his ideals and how he felt about things, but I found the class very interesting anyway. The class was very easy and enjoyable to take.

I enjoyed the course very much. I am and have been a "fan" of Jefferson for about 25 years. It was interesting to get an deeper understanding of his views on a variety of topics. I thought Jefferson was one dimensional with regard to religion; being a deist and a destroyer of the bible. I learned he was much more of a religious person. His views on slaves intrigued me for his plan to set them free. I was not aware of that side of him. Overall, it was excellent!!!
