In this course, you will develop your English conversational skills that you can use to build your personal and professional relationships. Learning activities in this course will take place on Voxy, an engaging language learning platform that automatically adapts to your current level and your performance across reading, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary skills so that every lesson is optimized for rapid improvement.
Each week is made up of engaging, short, task-based lessons that can be done anywhere, anytime. Lessons include content from the real world, so you will learn from dozens of real interactions while traveling, from booking and working out itineraries and logistics to asking for directions and reviewing accommodation. By the end of the course, you will feel confident navigating all kinds of travel situations in English.

- Course Introduction & Voxy Orientation
- This week, you will learn about this course and understand how to use Voxy's innovative platform.
- Navigating New Places
- This week, you will learn some useful language for when you're out exploring, as well as some advice that could take the stress out of traveling. You'll also hear recommendations for sights and itineraries in places around the world.
- Describing Travel
- This week, you'll learn how to talk about travel destinations and experiences with lots of details, as well as how to write an accommodation review. You'll also learn about the negative side of tourism and some of the challenges it can produce.
- Making Travel Plans
- This week, you'll be looking at what goes into planning a trip — from where to go and where to stay to how to get there. You will also learn some language to help you book holiday essentials with confidence.
- Socializing Across Cultures
- This week, you will learn about different ways in which people may communicate depending on where they come from. Knowing about these differences can help you to build strong relationships and work successfully with a variety of people.
- Final Tasks: Travel
- This week, you will use everything you learned to talk about travel both in written and spoken form.
