I am a GDPR "generalist" currently conducting a number of compliance programmes.

I have to warmly congratulate the organisers of the course.

What I very much appreciated in this course is its practical character ; the example is extremely well chosen, is very well documented.

You succeeded in combining most of the important situations under one case : a pregnancy which one wishes to keep secret, the usage of apps (so data flowing outside of the medical establishment), cors-border medical data (both within and outside the EU), etc.

Having followed several MOOC courses already, this course really stood out. First of all by the charming enthusiasm of the educators. Secondly by the efforts taken to make this course. It was not like in many other cases a recycling of of-the-shelve content but everything was custom made. Thirdly, it was very good from a pedagogic point of view. There was a good cliffhanger story to make it real-life practical and there was a good alternation between story-video, explaining video, text explaining and interesting supporting interviews. A GDPR course can never be exciting, but they came close. Fourthly, it was not overly commercial. Every chapter already contained a good quiz as a knowledge check. No paying exam at the end. In the end, I decided to pay "out of sympathy" since I do not need the certification (I'm not in healthcare...).

This course was informative and interesting - it felt up to date with its information, and was valuable to me due to my work with patient data in a hospital. Everyone can benefit from learning more about GDPR as we all either work with data or are data subjects ourselves every time we log on to an app or website. Good course.

The educators in the course made it so easy for someone who is even not covered in the GDPR to understand what it is, why it's there and how to implement it in healthcare. I for sure will start reading my terms and conditions on anything I use.
