It´s very useful and interesting for me. I´m learning a lot because I teach English but I´m haven´t studied at a Teacher´s training college so I know nothing about planning . I use to follow the coursebook plans and I "give form" to it according to other resources or ideas that I think they are useful to use in class. Apart from that, my students follow me during my class, I can see that at many tmes they really enjoy it and they learn. That´s why I´m trying to do my best because I love to do it and to keep in touch with students.

It's a very interesting course whether you are a novel teacher trying to understand how to plan your lessons or you are a teacher who has been working for a while but needs to brush up on teaching methods. Educators are nice and competent, the material provided is useful and interesting and there are lots of videos that show real teachers in action. Sharing material and ideas with other participants is also a good opportunity to grow professionally. Highly recommended.

It's a great course with practical advice on how to build a good English lesson taking into consideration all aspects of it: motivation of learners, working with weaker and stronger students through differentiation types, techniques like tiered instructions, or scaffolding method, planning activities at different stages of a lesson, evaluation and reflection. It's useful, purposeful and constructive.

This course is exceeding my expectations. I'm glad I decided to join and learning so much each week. I would definitely recommend it to teachers at their beginning of their careers, but also as a refreshment course for more experienced teachers.

I would also like to mention that Claire, Sue and Josh are doing an awesome job when moderating the debates and on the Facebook Live videos.

I very enjoy the course. It is very professional and well made.

I take a lot of advice and make notes.

I think it will help me to create better lesson plans.

However, I think I will not finish the course due to lack of time.

Next time, probably, thank you very much!!!

This course helps me a lot for all before, during, and after the lessons. Many ideas are eye opening for me and it is great that I can try those ideas the following day. I’ve taken some other courses in fiturelearn but this one is the best so far!

The course content is excellent. The Find out more section is most interesting and useful and the educators' comments are very much appreciated.

I am finding this course extremely helpful. As teachers we develop habits that we are slow to change. Often a course likes this encourages us to review our teaching behaviour and to develop new and more interesting lessons. This has certainly been the case for me on this course.

I took this course mainly to help with my English Language Teaching which I do infrequently and I knew I needed some help with my lesson planning for it. However, I can already see how it will really help me regenerate and rethink how I do my daily teaching which I now realise has become very stale and teacher centred (rather than student centred), particulalry due to teaching the same course for the last 8 years. The course hasn't been reviewed, but I really intend to review my approach to it for the coming teaching year.

I am very grateful for this course! Authentic language of tutors, describing all the important stages to create your best lesson! I saved a lot of material, printed it to remember better later at work at school. I liked video with very interesting teachers from different countries talking about their own experience on various fields - it was very useful. Also the course is made like this that you can't stop thinking about what is going on later - it is really very interesting to find more and more resources, plans and material to build a great lesson. Thank you very much! Hope that many teachers could attend this course.

I have really enjoyed this Course up to now and has found it extremely useful as it is full of practical advice and not only theory. The more useful links you provide us with, the best the outcome for us the techers.

What I would like to note down, is that teachers that have to work in classes with no Internet access (like me) need lots of and even more useful advise and practical ideas on how to tailor their lessons and adapt the course books. For these teachers it is more difficult to make the lesson more interesting and not boring!!

Thank you all for the excellent and contant effort you are putting on this Course.

Janaki is taking this course right now, spending 2 hours a week on it and found the course difficulty to be medium.
I've been loving reading the comments and tips of both the instructors and teachers who joined the course.

I could easily say is like discovering a new world, and that I have the possibility of becoming (one day) a good teacher.

I've discovered a large number of tools that I couldn't even dream of.

The texts and videos provided on the British Council website are priceless.

I don't know exactly how to describe the feelings, maybe happiness, and relief, because with the lessons it seems like anyone can become a good teacher working along with the right people and tools.

The course provides them.

Thank you so much you all.

It is my very first experience with this type of a course and I will definitely do more in the future! I am even considering the premium version. I love the ideas the educators provide us with and the comments fellow teachers from other countries leave below each point of the course.

It is great to get professional advice on teaching a foreign language and a great opportunity for me to write something in English. I love they videos as well, great materials and again a perfect opportunity for me to practice my listening skills.

I am not only a teacher, I am a student too. Thank you!

I would like to say that this course is being really interesting for teachers. Not only does it have a lot of materials, but it is also accompanied by plans and comments to teach a good lesson. I wish I had more time to read all the comments the others members add, since all the contributions are useful. I also enjoy the videos in which I can see how teachers teach English around the world with different resources and sometimes in quite large classes. Thank you so much for this course, I hope you do more like this one.

So far, I find it really useful and motivating. For teachers to be, they'll find a great source where to learn from video observation and download great templates for teaching planning, the key of successful teaching. For already experienced teachers, it is helping me not to take things for granted when teaching or before lessons. Also, I have collected some wonderful ideas and tips from other members' comments. It is wonderful that we have the chance to share and learn from each other.

This is the first time I took an online course. To me, this is really comprehensive for anyone who wants to become an English teacher as their career. I understand this is just the first step to the pool of knowledge but you want to improve your English lessons with new ways on using resources available or getting to know the definitions of scaffolding, differentiation by content... This is for you all!!

This course is very interesting and I have learned a lot . I could see ways to adapt material and to think about our course and class planning that make the difference. I have taken other courses with future Learning which I really liked. However, this is my favourite. Unfortunately, my pace is kind of slow because in Brazil it is the end of our term before we take some days off, so I have been working hard.

The facebook videos are too long. It might be helpful to make them into a series. I saw 50 mins, 30 mins and decided not to even start.

There are many, many useful links but I find them a bit overwhelming. With sites/apps that ask for a sign on it might be helpful to describe more about what they do.

However on every page I learn something new and am inspired to adapt for my own purposes.
