This interactive virtual program will provide patient-centered training for doctors and other healthcare professionals and will emphasizes core competencies for responding to individual patient needs, values, and preferences by practicing communication skills such as open-ended inquiry, reflective listening and empathy. The program is tailored for NorthShore providers and is led by experienced physician faculty and is presented in three 2-hour sessions. Attendance of all three sessions is required to support learning objectives for all participants.
