This course is an excellent introduction to understanding different types of DMTs and how they work, and the role they play in enhancing quality of life for people living with MS.

The course material includes interviews with individuals with MS, and academics and health professionals who work in the field. All participants have first-hand knowledge of DMTs - from the process of choosing and starting DMTs, to switching and/or possibly discontinuing. The interviews are informative and honest.
Increasing our general understanding and awareness of DMTs and their impact, will help support those living with MS in our community.

The course has left me with a better appreciation of the role that DMTs play in improving the lives of those living with this chronic condition. I have had RRMS for 18 years but had chosen to not go on DMTs as mine was always very mild and I have had no new lesions since my first MRI in 2006. However, I've noticed significant changes recently so I would like to commence a DMT and have found this course to be extremely beneficial. I now have a better understanding of DMTs and this will help me with my decision for the way forward.

An excellent module on DMTs, for both newly diagnosed people with MS (pwMS) and those who have had a long standing diagnosis of MS. The modules were clear and very informative with numerous MS experts providing excellent information. Thank you for an enjoyable MS module

Very interesting and informative. Having ms myself it answered some of the question. I believe this course and other MS courses offered from the Menzies institute should be offered to newly diagnosed MS patients, they answer basic question.

I have found this course informative and helpful. It has helped me to accept my diagnosis of MS and showed me there is life with MS. I have nursed people in the past with MS and I saw little hope. But this course has shown me "Don't give up".

It is another way of alerting interested people to become educated in the subject. It is good to have knowledge on this subject not only to educate the person, but the person to be able to help others, or direct to the right place to start

As a Healthcare Professional, recently diagnosed with MS I found this course interesting and informative. It added to my knowledge, and alleviated doubts I had. The course was honestly and compassionately presented by medical staff as well as people living with MS. There can be a lot of misinformation on the web, and this course clarifies the facts in a way that is easy to understand. As well being a course for medical professionals, this is extremely helpful for people living with MS and their loved ones. Enabling people to oversee their own health pathways by having access to factual information is an important part of managing chronic illness.

Enjoyed the course very informative, and useful in understanding how DMTs work and what is involved in deciding the best course of action, for each individual with MS. It is a collaboration from a team of experts, and the person with MS, that takes into account the persons lifestyle and what is best for them. The information is very easy for people to understand you don't have to have a medical background. I enjoyed the videos, it was interesting to hear from people with MS. and how they live and cope with MS. The quiz at the end of each module just reinforced information learned at each stage.

I really enjoyed this very well presented and informative course. I found it to be a good follow-up on the first course I did on MS.
There are a lot of different factors to consider when deciding to either start on medication or switching from one to another. This decision can be overwhelming and quite scary. It was great to be able to hear first hand others experiences with this. Understanding that these decisions can effect both mental and physical side effects differently for each individual really helped a lot.

I am a cognitive psychologist who helps MS patients with mindfulness-based yoga and cognitive assessment and rehabilitation. The information about DMT helps me to consider the effects of medication side effects on the body, mind, and cognition of patients when doing yoga exercises. Also, during cognitive assessment and rehabilitation, I need to pay attention to the type of medication, the time interval of DMT, and its side effects. This course gave me very comprehensive and useful information. Thank you very much.

Great knowledge for learners...I completed this course to enhance my general knowledge, and I found it very informative. It provided a clear understanding of Disease-Modifying Therapies (DMTs) for Multiple Sclerosis, including how they work, their administration methods, and their impact on disease progression. While I took this course for general learning, I believe the knowledge gained could be valuable for my future career when needed. A well-structured and useful course for anyone interested in MS treatments.

I think that this course should be reviewed by people who have either MS or their families, but also more healthcare providers need to review this material in my opinion. I believe if more healthcare providers would be more directly involved in allowing families and people with the disease be a part of the decision-making process, and knowing more about the options out there that they could make informed decisions would go a long way in alleviating a lot of anxiety and stress in all affected persons.

This course was a good sounding block for a non MS sufferer to look at available DMTS. The available therapies and their routes of administration were choices MS patients could choose ,bearing in mind needle phobia or difficulty remembering to take medication so choosing a daily medication. I am not currently nursing" Rest-home or Hospital level "MS patients but will undoubtedly in the future, so this was a good starting point of knowledge
