GUEST SPEAKER Mark Zonfrillo, MD, MSCE Associate Professor of Pediatrics Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Brown Emergency Medicine Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI Overview Time management is a key issue for busy clinicians and medical educators. Efficient time management can be a key aspect of faculty wellness and resilience against burnout. This workshop will discuss the major principles from the book "Zen to Done.” Participants will brainstorm about barriers to, and facilitators for, effective time management.

Syllabus

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to: 

  1. Describe the importance of time management 
  2. Define a strategy to set personal and professional priorities 
  3. Identify steps to overcome barriers to effective time management
