Introduction to Being a Teaching Artist

I am a teacher who has subjects such as artistic project research, video art, aesthetics, semiotics, three-dimensional production, Use of Daws, generative art and computational creativity. In all these years, I have understood: producing an object for artistic purposes is not the same as teaching in the classroom.

The course helped me understand that one as a teacher inspires students: what does it mean? Students can have tools, theories, methodologies, case studies, talks with artists. But the fundamental element in school: teaching the student to find their own meanings, observe their context, to question themselves, to recognize themselves in a globalized world.

Red objects, objects full of passion. That is what the course has taught me. To leave clues for students interested in discovering their own personal grammars. Things beyond the art market.
