Overview
What is impact and how might it be measured?
Entrepreneurship can create various impacts on an economy and generate change within society. The measurement and acknowledgement of such impacts can lead to better support programs, improved evaluation frameworks and increased innovative behaviour.
This course highlights the different approaches to measuring impact in varying contexts and organisations. Some of these factors include the acceptance of risk, level of research and innovation, availability of technology, and sophistication of ecosystems.
Therefore, it is crucial that the tools and frameworks for measuring impact are contextualised.
This course is for anyone interested in entrepreneurship, or a particular entrepreneurial project, and the role that impact measurement plays in the process. This course is part of the PG Cert in Entrepreneurship.
