In this course, you will learn how to set up a fairly basic but secure VPC-based Infrastructure deployment within AWS that can be easily duplicated for developers to use and manage as they see fit.
To create a complete infrastructure-based environment within AWS, you will want to use both dedicated EC2 instances as well as Shared Services. You will also want to make sure that the environment is locked down so that only a single developer and the IT operations staff have access to that environment. In this course, Deploying Basic Infrastructure Services on AWS, you will gain the ability to create a basic VPC-based infrastructure that can be provided to a set of developers. First, you will learn about the basics of how to configure roles, permissions, and source code control. Next, you will discover how to create and configure all of the necessary Networking and Compute services that may be required depending on the specifics of the application that the developers are working on. Finally, you will explore how to leverage database and storage based shared services and how to deploy them within the scope of a VPC. When you are finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge of how to manually deploy a basic VPC-based infrastructure that can be replicated for numerous developers that are all working on the same application.Topics:
