Overview

Soft skills are crucial competencies to be developed by students to access the labour market. The integration of active learning methods in teaching practices can support curriculum innovation and improve the learning experience of university students in particular while learning disciplinary subjects.

    Really interesting and well made FREE course. The structure works and provide a lot of useful insights on many aspects of course innovation.

    I only have one suggestion: there is a bit of unbalance between the first part of the course (theorethical background and description of models) and the second (practical tips for i-class implementation), at least in terms of focus and effectiveness of the content. But this is just an opinion.

    I thought your course in Active Learning for Soft Skills Development was excellent.
    I really enjoyed the build up, the video tutorials and the quizzes at the end of each week.
    Some of the tasks for the discussion group were easier to perform, others required a deeper research beforehand. In that sense the time frame the Mooc Platform provided wasn't very accurate. But I did not mind, because the topic was interesting.
    I think it is a good course, and perhaps something that all teachers should do before embarking on the challenge of preparing youngsters today for working and living in a world of the future !

    I loved to learn with this course!
    It took more hours of studying than I expected, but maybe because I enjoyed learning so much that I wanted to do study, read and feel it inside of me.
    It is a well-structured course, with materials, methods, and procedures that are very useful and easy to apply.
    I thought the bibliography could be more recent, but it was always interesting to read.

    I told several friends to do the course, sharing how important is this subject.

    The course is well designed , comprehensive and the platform is very user friendly.

    Credit goes to the way the course is well structured , makes you want to know -what next - I was completely hooked.

    Assignment task - is challenging and engaging.

    The interviews are great learning moments .

    Next step - could be a webinar - where experiences could be shared- and build the Polimi Committee of practitioners/alumni

    This MOOC offers fantastic resources for teaching staff to integrate/improve active learning in their courses. Its design and the videos make it a very pleasant and effective way to learn and progress throughout the course. I would recommend this to everyone who is teaching at university.
