Nice to learn about its positive impact in the area of mental health. How Google and Facebook data are used to learn about their impact on the community. This is very fascinating.
Looking forward to the next class in this specialization.

If you want to know about a subject go to the top person in the field. Marty Seligman's class is what you are looking for if you want to know more about how positive psychology can help you and others you know right now. It's filled with practical application and is allows people to help themselves. He introduces the concept of PERMA for good mental health and points to proven elevated mental states such as flow.
He gives you some tools to assess where you are on the psychological health scale and gives exercises, theories, and a ground-breaking reframe of Chris Peterson's chart of character virtues. The class not only sheds light on mental illness in a new and compassionate light. However, it is focused on generating good mental health for people in the moment. It gets an A on where the focus should be!
I highly recommend this class. Times flies. Very interesting.
