Class Central Tips
In this course, students will be exposed to a variety of applications of Optics and Robotics. Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) applications with flying machines, drones, fixed winged, rotary systems, underwater machines and spaced based systems will be covered. Chemical detection systems such as the ChemSight™ Hazardous Gas Detection System and Gas Chromatograph with Photoionization Detector will also be discussed.
Students will be introduced to key aspects of the application of optical systems agricultural, farming & commercial fishery management. We'll delve into the exciting new application of infrared heat detection used for firefighting and thermal detection using smart phones.
