Prerequisites: CHIN 101 or two years of high school Chinese or qualifying score on SBCC SoML placement exam.Essentials of spoken and written Mandarin Chinese through the study of vocabulary, Pin-Yin system, syntax, grammar and culture.Continues the introduction to the essential tools of communication in modern Chinese.
