In this class, we will:
- Discuss some of the different types of Markers you can get
- Look specifically into Alcohol Markers and some of the popular brands
- Demonstrate different surfaces and recommend which surface will produce best results without tearing
- Delve into the layering and blending processes to achieve beautiful, vibrant results
- Analyse how other mediums (graphite, coloured pencils and fineliners) interact and can be used with Markers to produce interesting sketches
- Complete a quick step-by-step sketch using the techniques discussed
As you work through the techniques in this class, you will start to gain an invaluable first-hand experience with your Markers that will open up a complete new world of creativity, making you ready for your class project!
On completion of this class, you will be able to apply and practice all the knowledge and techniques demonstrated in the exercises in your very own Marker sketches!
This class will give you the direction, basic knowledge and confidence for you to be able to quickly start working with Markers without having to buy every brand and colour on earth!
This class is aimed at absolute beginners with no prior knowledge required at all.
All materials used and demonstrated will be explained and links will be provided in the resource sheet to enable easy access if required.
