Overview

The course on Instructional Design will help the learner understand the concept of Instructional designand the use of technology and multimedia as tools to enhance instruction.

This course on Instructional Design helps the Learner to develop an understanding of history and evolutionof Instructional Design, Principles and characteristics of the design and development of instructionalmaterial, the various competencies and skills in Instructional Design, design and development of e-learningmaterials and modes and models of Instructional Design and the role of teacher as an effective designer.

This course is part of approved University level curriculum for Master in Education(M.Ed.). It can be takenby students at any level of teacher education and in service teachers of different faculties. It will enablethem to master all the ideas of Instructional Design.

Through the course you will learn and understand the creation of instructional experiences which makes theacquisition of knowledge and skill more efficient, effective and appealing.

    Thank you for the course. This course is very thorough and detailed. The course helped me in gaining information about historical background, principles, characteristics and development of instructional design. The course also gave me latest updates in the area of instructional design. Lectures and presentations are clear and well organised. The basic concepts have been properly and sequentially addressed. I really enjoyed the classes. Formative and summative assessments are very useful. It helped to check the main concepts. I feel that the course is very informative and helpful to teacher education students, researchers in education and teachers. I strongly recommend the course.

    It was my first online course.Actullay I don't know anything about the online course.Firstly I thought it was difficult for me to complete the course.But my view about the course was change after the first session.It was nice experience for me. Majority of the classes I attended on the way to my home.The class presentation was very nice and easy to pick up.At the end of each session there was a formative evaluation that also help to understand what we learn.Actually it was a wonderful experience for me.. I am really thankful to our respected teacher Dr.Sajna Jaleel for this wonderful online course.

    Instructional Design Course in MOOC Platform is an interactive learning platform which is designed by considering the needs of the learner. It was very useful in understanding about planning of curriculum, principles of instructional design, developing of instructional design materials, planning a lesson, different aspects of communication, and many relevant informatioNS.     Instructional design course in MOOC Platform helped me in creating an interactive learning environment according to the needs of the learner.     It is a course which i found to be of immense use in this scenario. This course will make it possible for every teacher to become an expert in the preparation of electronic content videos with a sound pedagogical framework. By grasping the systematic procedures involved in instructional designing, I think all teachers can excel in the creation of their own interesting virtual classroom platform meaningfully in this covid pandemic context.
