Unsexy but perfectly adequate MacroEcon 101. Illustrates theories by drawing on 20C history of changes in US economic policies. (Prof. Navarro himself inclines towards monetarism - IMHO, but I might be wrong.) 80% of the grade is in the final exam, so the (extensive) 11 weekly quizzes are intended more for learning than grading. (Course would be perfect for a real-world self-study group!) I needed a course to cover the basics and plug my gaps. This did the job nicely.

Glad I completed the course and passed all the tests. I still like to put my hands on the transcript of the lectures for future reference. Before too long the information will start to look like a hazy memory. If someone knows how to get the lecture notes or transcript of the course please let me know.
    Thanks

A worthwhile and well organised course which with its sister course offers a solid non-mathematical introduction to economics. Would be a good refresher course for reviewing the material

Two general issues : 1) I am taking the course for self development only. I don't care for a certificate but it appears I cannot see my quiz results w/o paying for a certificate.

Issue 2) is more specific to the course lessons presented by the instructor. Someone didn't do their job correctly because each lesson ends prematurely. I don't know how many seconds of the end I have missed in each lesson, but my pea sized brain can only wonder. Am I missing something important? Someone should have edited the product before release.
