《大学英语》课程是高校一门公共必修课,不仅承载着语言教学的使命,更致力于培养学习者的跨文化交际能力,同时践行《高等学校课程思政建设指导纲要》,深入挖掘课程和教学方式中蕴含的思想政治教育资源,塑造新时代青年文化自信、家国情怀、社会责任感意识,培养学习者向“自由人、知识人和社会人”三者合一的立体化方向发展,成为适应经济发展和社会需求的新时代高素质、应用型、复合型技术性人才。

《大学英语》课程基于建构理论学习观,“以学生为中心”的教育理念,利用现代化教学手段,从英语语言知识难易程度和语言学习策略角度创建阶梯式、模块化、层级化、方法化、策略化的大学英语微课教学资源,可满足不同英语水平学习者各自需求,构建了“传统课堂+微课堂+自主学习课堂”“三位一体”微课教学模式,形成时间、空间、主体等多个维度的外语训练互动,使课上内容和课下自主学习形成有效连接,实现课下输入,课上输出强化,努力发挥学习者的主动性,深化知识理解和应用,培养学习者自主学习、拓展学习和有效语言输出等能力,提高学习者学习英语的兴趣、自信心及自我认同感,较好地结合所学专业朝着“个性化”自主学习方向发展。

该课程由资深教师负责建设,结合教学团队成员教学实践,选取了句子成分及类型、定语从句、非谓语动词、后置定语、虚拟语气、强调句结构的知识内容,由浅入深,全面细致、循序渐进地介绍了英语语言词法、句法的概念、性质、结构及应用,融入了中英语言、文化、思维、认知差异等方面的知识,教学设计坚持立德树人根本任务和思政教学立德树人本质,引经据典,引起学生的情感共鸣,教学过程采用“理论学习+实践应用”的沉浸式学习体验,激励学生产生学习内动力,有效促进学生对课程知识的理解、掌握、拓展与深化,帮助学习者建立起对英语语言结构的系统化认知与学习,将价值引领、知识传播和能力培养有机统一,坚定文化自信,鉴别和明确中西文化差异,树立正确的人生观价值观,实现大学教育思想性与时代性并重并举。
