Chinese Herbal Medicine is an important course to introduce the basic theory, the properties, efficacy and clinical application of each medicine. Chinese herbal medicine, together with the foundation and prescription, constitutes the knowledge system of traditional Chinese medicine, which provides important knowledge of safe, effective and rational use of medicine for clinical TCM doctors. It provides basis for pharmaceutical workers to carry out modern research of Chinese herbal medicine and also lays a foundation for the popularization of Chinese herbal medicine knowledge by the majority of TCM enthusiasts. Moreover, it is one of the most important methods to prevent and cure diseases. It has made great contribution to the health of people and the prosperity of Chinese nation for thousands of years
