The course "Cognitive Practicum for Electrical Engineering" is based on the professional history, development, and prospects. It presents the connotation of electrical engineering, the fields it covers, and the undergraduate learning content from both disciplinary and professional perspectives. Taking theory as the guide and practice as the technique, the course takes learners into power plants and substations, allowing them to understand the structure of electrical equipment, familiarize themselves with its functions, grasp the principles, comprehend the entire process of power system operation, and learn about the safety knowledge of power production and operation. Meanwhile, it cultivates learners to establish correct engineering consciousness and views, especially the safety awareness and skills in electrical engineering.
