In this course, we will guide you into the extensive and profound world of Hongmu culture, allowing you to experience its distinct charm.

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Hongmu furniture flourished and reached its peak. Renowned for its unique Eastern aesthetic, Hongmu furniture became a shining gem in the history of world furniture. Its international fame not only highlights the exquisite craftsmanship of China's traditional arts but also serves as a crucial carrier of Hongmu culture.

Our predecessors, through their extensive use of Hongmu, have left us a rich legacy of intangible cultural heritage, including Hongmu woodworking techniques and the tenon-and-mortise structure. This course will introduce you to these traditional skills, enabling the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage and its spirit, so that Hongmu culture can once again shine in the modern era.
