This course is aimed at students from various levels and disciplines, enabling them to master the basic theories, knowledge, and skills of medical statistics, and equipping them with statistical research thinking and the ability to solve practical problems. Students will become familiar with the basic methods and skills for collecting, organizing, and analyzing research data in the health and clinical fields, and will be trained to develop rigorous and meticulous research qualities, forming critical and rational thinking, laying the necessary ideological and political foundation for conducting scientific research. While teaching the basic theoretical knowledge of statistics, this course integrates the imparting of disciplinary knowledge, thinking methods, and scientific laws, embedding the inherent scientific spirit and values into teaching practices according to students' professional characteristics. It educates and guides students to base themselves in the times, set academic aspirations, and cultivate professional interests, vocational spirit, and social responsibility.
