Overview
Engage in a 30-minute aerobic cardio workout designed to elevate your heart rate in an enjoyable way. This beginner to intermediate level exercise session promotes cardiovascular endurance while improving cognitive skills, posture, balance, and overall mental health and mood. No equipment is required, but ensure your workout area is clear to prevent accidents, wear secure and comfortable footwear for walking/marching (low impact), and utilize the seated and chair-supported variations if standing is uncomfortable. This workout is provided by the Leonard P. Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies and Healthy Living at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which offers various supportive services for patients and families.
