Grade 10 Biology Unit 2

This course will explore the principles of heredity and genetics in the context of the Ethiopian Grade 10 Biology curriculum. We will address topics such as Mendelian inheritance, dominant and recessive alleles, and other related concepts. Throughout, we will consider and discuss how genetics play out in different ecosystems, and their implications for the environment. We will also discuss exciting breakthroughs in genetics, and the ethical considerations of using various genetic engineering techniques. Students will leave this course with a greater understanding of heredity and genetics, and their implications.
