This seminar talk explores quantitative embedding results for Legendrian submanifolds of pre-quantization spaces as part of the Symplectic Geometry Seminar series at the Institute for Advanced Study. Join Eric Kilgore from Stanford University as he begins by recalling contact non-squeezing results for domains and presents an elementary proof of Legendrian non-squeezing for lifts of integral Lagrangian loops in T*R using variations on normal rulings. Learn how these concepts generalize to high dimensions through the language of microsheaves. The presentation may also cover an application demonstrating that Legendrian lifts of certain monotone Lagrangian tori in ℂn are not squeezable. The talk takes place on April 15, 2025, at 1:00pm in Simonyi 101 with remote access available.
