Join Tai Chi Master Ramel Rones in this 47-minute session demonstrating Qigong and Tai Chi techniques specifically designed for lung and spine health. Learn gentle stretches for the soft tissue around the spine and lungs through various static postures and dynamic movements derived from ancient eastern health and martial arts philosophies. Practice different deep breathing techniques to stimulate the lungs while incorporating meditation and energy work beneficial for both lung and spine health. The class includes exercises such as Hula-Hoop, Mountain Stance, Stretch the Bows, Release the Bows, A Sun Salutation, Wall Backstrokes, Chair Twist, Rainbow, and Zen Mind. Most exercises can be performed either sitting or standing, making this session accessible for various ability levels.
