Overview
This course covers the learning outcomes and goals of understanding thermodynamic potentials, the ergodic hypothesis, and the microcanonical ensemble. Students will learn individual skills such as calculating entropy, free energy, and grand potential. The teaching method involves lectures and theoretical explanations. The intended audience for this course is individuals interested in statistical mechanics and thermodynamics.
