This course explores the history, culture, and contemporary issues of Native peoples in Oklahoma. Students will learn about the diverse tribes in the region, their traditions, and their contributions to society. The course covers topics such as sovereignty, land rights, and cultural revitalization efforts. Through readings, discussions, and assignments, students will develop a deeper understanding of the experiences of Native peoples in Oklahoma.
