In this MOOC the lecturer is trying to answer the growing critics on EU policy that arose in many countries in Europe. This course wants to clarify whether the European policy is beneficial to citizens and want to take a closer look at how the European policy is made and how is implemented. It’s an attempt to answer at question such as: what’s the role of local, national and European level actors in the process of policy implementation? How effective is the multilevel governance? How could be improved the effectiveness and efficiency of the European policy design?
In answering these questions are used different models and perspective such as game theory, deliberative theory or public choice and analytical politics.
In the mooc students can choose among two study cases: clean air policy or labor mobility for analyse all the aspect of policy decision and implementation.
