We publish original and actionable content that helps our readers and global learners discover new courses, maximize learning platforms, and learn from exceptional and diverse resources.
We've built The Report around rigorous journalism, diverse perspectives, and expert analysis that goes beyond surface-level coverage. And we love stories about online education—trends, news, and personal experiences that have a unique voice and a definitive message.
What We're Looking for
- Personal Essays (witnessing online platforms grow, career transformations while online learning, deep dives into a platform experience, alternative education, self-learning, and so on)
- News & Industry Analysis (developments in the online education sector, inner workings of leading platforms, market trends or platform analysis, interesting angles on major education players, etc)
- Unconventional and comprehensive resource guides and listicles like this one on Stanford's On-Campus Computer Science Courses, this one on Gen AI, and this one on the best Coursera courses with peer reviews.
P.S. We accept pre-published pieces if they've been published on personal platforms (blogs/websites).
Who Should Pitch Us
The Class Central team has collectively completed hundreds of online courses. If you're someone who enjoys signing up for courses or loves online learning, you're one of us, and we'd love to hear your pitch.
We welcome writers from all backgrounds. You could be a student using courses to advance your career or a retiree exploring a new hobby. We are open to different viewpoints on the online learning industry.
We're especially interested in writers and learners with specific expertise—tech, AI, business, or any other niche area. If you have unique insights and can engage readers who share your interests, we'd love to hear from you.
Our platform focuses on learners, but we're also curious about instructor experiences. If you teach online or conduct live classes, we'd welcome your views on today's education landscape.
