  • This Course Specialization allowed me to tie loose ends on commonly-encountered biostatistics topics for use in research and teaching. While there are typographical issues and "remnants" of the previous incarnations of the material, I find all of these forgivable. Dr. McGready did a great job in explaining the step-by-step processes of the statistical techniques covered. However, do not expect that this course will teach you any statistical software, as the number-crunching step was intentionally omitted to focus on the concepts rather than on the scut work.

A great course and wonderful teacher, Very clear and packed full of insight and examples. Very condensed and lots of detail but if you stick to it, it can explain a lot of things other courses do not. Really top notch.
