One of the factor that determine best performance of the child is parental engagement in school. The learner is highly motivated when he she see that their parents are actively involved in their school work activities.Am glad to be proven wrong because I once thought that learners performance can be affected by the family background....but this isn't true.... according to the research done on both social classes has clearly indicated that involvement of family is vital to all learners plus the various types of parental involvement though it seems simple things that we usually ignore but they mean so much to the learners in our classroom situations. Am now able to convince my pupils parents on how and when their involvement in school really matters to their children
