Rusley, MD, MHS Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Clinician Educator Clinical Assistant Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice Bio Med Pediatrics Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Get those projects “unstuck”, those articles organized, and save yourself time and energy on your academic and scholarly pursuits by taking this course. The presenters will help you build your skills and increase your research efficiency and productivity designed specifically for busy faculty. Participants are encouraged to attend regardless of their stage of familiarity and skill using reference management tools.

Syllabus

After participating in this course, the learner should be better able to:

  1. Identify benefits of reference management tools, including time saved, productivity increased, and ability to easily collaborate and share references with others. 
  2. Choose a reference management tool to use in their own work and increase comfort using this tool to achieve their scholarly goals.
  3. Describe the supports and resources available through Brown and affiliated institutions, especially librarian consultations for reference management and literature searches.

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION AND HOW TO RECEIVE CME CREDIT

There are no fees for participating in and receiving credit for this activity.

  • Review the activity objectives, faculty information, and CME information prior to participating in the activity.
  • View the CME presentations
  • Complete the CME activity evaluation at the conclusion of the activity in order to receive a credit certificate.
