Overview

By the end of this project, you will be able to create a simple point of sale POS app with the basic functionalities that any supermarket needs to establish their cashier systems, You’ll be able to multiply the items by their corresponding prices, add them all together and finally, show the total payment. Moreover, You will be able to create classes, objects, methods that we will use to build the structure of the app, you will also be able to use loops and import important libraries. This project is meant to cover the most common data types and gives an overview about the object oriented programming (OOP) in Java with its main concepts such as inheritance and abstraction. Note: This project works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.
