Overview

The goal of this course is to take existing IT professionals, whether they come from software development or operations, and help them appreciate the challenges facing companies who are looking to embrace scalable software deployment as well as the architectures and thought processes they can use to address these challenges.

Students will start with a presentation of the problem as it stands today, then dive into the DevOps workflow and a survey of the system architectures currently being used to address this problem.

    A very quick 3-lesson intro to the basic concept of devops. Honestly I found the practice exercises to be more trouble than they were worth - they're basically just uninteresting exercises in setting up various environments, rather than actual "how…

    Course is extremely low quality, typical of most udacity courses. Instructor talks way too fast (yes, I know I can slow it down, but 50% slow down is TOO SLOW). I followed the first hands-on lab instructions to the letter and it did not work. No help on the forums. I guess that's what you get for free...

    Very easy course, right now outdated, you will need to troubleshoot the exercises, just refresh and grasp the concept. Check the git repo and use the new commits.
