A Teen Climate Activist’s Perspective on the Power of Action

This course aims to inspire and encourage young changemakers to take action on their beliefs by showcasing the journey of a teen climate activist. The learning outcomes include understanding the compounding effect of small actions, learning how personal interactions and initiatives can lead to larger movements, and gaining insights into the power of youth activism in promoting climate reform. The course teaches skills such as public speaking, community engagement, and leadership. The teaching method involves a TEDx talk format with real-life examples and personal anecdotes.
