Anthropology of Latin America & Caribbean

This course on the Anthropology of Latin America and the Caribbean aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the region's history, culture, and societal dynamics. By the end of the course, students will have gained knowledge about the pre-colonial era, colonization, resistance movements, nation-building, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, food, health, violence, justice, neoliberalism, immigration, popular culture, and contemporary issues in Latin America and the Caribbean.
