This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of kinematics in the Catia V5 software. It is composed of eight lessons, covering practices related to the use of different kinematic mechanisms such as the Window Regulator Mechanism, Skotch Yoke Mechanism, Belt and Pulley Mechanism, Robotic Gripper Mechanism, Toggle Clamp Mechanism, Oscillation Mechanism, Quick Return Mechanism, and 4 Bar Link Mechanism. Through each lesson, students will explore the simulation environment to create, analyze and optimize kinematic movements. At the end of the course, students will have increased their knowledge and practice in the use of mechanical devices for the creation and modification of interactive visuals for engineering designs.
