Overview
This course aims to educate learners on the democratization of higher education through Open Education Resources (OERs) and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). The learning outcomes include understanding how to make higher education accessible globally at a reasonable cost, creating openly-licensed curriculum materials, and utilizing open source online services for course delivery. Learners will acquire skills in collaborating on OER development, utilizing FOSS technology stack, and ensuring digital privacy and freedom in learning.
