Extreme Grade 11 Chemistry Unit 1

This Grade 11 Chemistry course explores fundamental concepts of Chemistry, such as measurement, unit, prefixes, uncertainty and significant figures. Students will explore the various concepts of Chemistry through experiments and simulations, that will require the use of the scientific method. The course will introduce the use of the metric system, precision and accuracy in measuring, calibration of laboratory equipment, usage of scientific notation and much more. Ultimately, the goal of the course is to equip the students with knowledge and understanding that will allow them to engage in research and laboratory experiments, as they explore the Wonderful world of Chemistry.
