I am writing to express my deep gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Fundamentals of Qualitative Research Methods course. As someone who is passionate about research and eager to expand my knowledge and skills in this field, this course has been an invaluable experience.

Over the duration of the course, I have learned so much about the foundational principles and techniques of qualitative research. From exploring different approaches such as ethnography, grounded theory, and case studies, to mastering the many data collection and analysis methods commonly used in qualitative research, the course has provided me with an extensive toolkit for conducting meaningful and insightful research.

Moreover, I have developed a critical eye for evaluating the quality of qualitative research studies, and gained an appreciation for the importance of reflexivity and ethical considerations in qualitative research.

The course was exceptionally well-structured and presented, with engaging and thought-provoking assignments and discussions, and the guidance and support provided by the course instructors was exemplary. I am confident that the skills and knowledge I have acquired through this course will be of immense value to me as I embark on my research journey.

Once again, thank you for the opportunity to participate in this course. I look forward to continuing my academic journey with Yale University.

an excellent course.easy approach for learners.Qualitative research is different from quantitative resesrch.We the clinicians are often thought quantitative reserach and we practise that.We are not used to qualitative research.This course explain all the basics of qualitative reserch in a simple way.Thre learner can now have a better understanding of qualitative research and can do qualitative reserch in their institutions.The strenght of course is short leactures and easy expalination.I would just suggest that if MCQs or short assessment is conducted at the end of each lecture then that would be wounderful.Furthermore option for downloading lectures or reading material must be provided.I am very thankful to Prof.Junaid Sarfarz Dean CEO Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar Pakistan who has shared this link of course.He is always helpful to the faculty by conducting workshops/webinars and sharing links of such useful courses.

The main purpose of this review article is to introduce some important fundamental concepts of quantitative research to readers especially novice researchers.

Firstly qualitative research has been brokenly explained as the collection organization and interpretation of textual information
It comprises types of research, definitions of quantitative research, different types and assumptions of quantitative research, when to use and not to use quantitative methods, advantages, common approaches and samples of quantitative research, and common misconceptions. Besides, a set of criteria for evaluating quantitative research proposal is provided. The main focus is on the assumptions underlying the quantitative research and some of the misconceptions that many researchers have when they are conducting a research study

The qualitative research course I took was a stimulating and enriching experience. We delved into various qualitative research methods such as case studies, ethnography, and grounded theory. We also learned about the importance of reflexivity and how our personal biases can influence our research. The highlight of the course was the opportunity to conduct our own mini-qualitative study, which provided us with hands-on experience in applying the concepts learned. The course materials were well-organized, and the instructor was knowledgeable and clear. Overall, this course was an excellent starting point for anyone interested in qualitative research, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking to expand their research skills.

Insightful and mind opening the course is. It expended my understanding and provided with great tips about qualitative research. Developing qualitative research questions, conducting in-depth interviews, and keeping the interviewees on track within the domain of the research subject during the interview is a key takeaways I captured from the course. Additionally, coding was something I saw very interesting even though I am yet to fully understand it at this point, it's seems to be something great. I will go much deeper to understand coding in qualitative research in qualitative research and more. Educative the course is for beginners and professionals too.

Very informative presentation. Discussed all the important aspects of the qualitative research. Different steps to be followed, how to prepare the interview schedule, how to conduct the interview with focused group are well explained. The importance of this type of research and how it is different from quantitative is also explained well. This is one of the type of research that can be initiated in some cases instead of quantitative research. This type of research is based upon the information recieved from the focus group.

The course was helpful and understandable but I wasn't able to download the videos, and watching them straighforward was kind of time wasting due to network breakdown. I therefore entreat that options should be given in such a way that, anyone who want to offer the course has a choice to choose the methods of learning that he/she prefer. For instance, someone may prefer learning with videos, others may prefer leading with audios or reading materials. Thank you
