Modeling and Simulation of Dynamic Systems

Cal Poly Pomona via YouTube

Overview

This course on Modeling and Simulation of Dynamic Systems aims to teach students how to model and simulate dynamic systems using MATLAB. By the end of the course, students will be able to solve Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs) using MATLAB's ode45, laplace, and dsolve commands. They will also learn about equivalent spring constants, spring-mass-damper systems, poles, and how to solve 1st and 2nd order ODEs using Laplace transforms. The teaching method involves examples and practical applications to reinforce learning. This course is intended for students studying mechanical engineering or related fields who want to enhance their skills in modeling and simulating dynamic systems.

The course was really interesting and straight to the point but I would have preferred if it were more interactive.
