Overview

This course on Microbiology aims to introduce students to the world of microorganisms, covering topics such as the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, bacterial morphology, nutritional requirements, growth curves, culture techniques, staining methods, sterilization, fungi classification, sterility testing, aseptic area design, microbiological assays, and clean room facilities. By the end of the course, students will have gained knowledge and skills in microbiological techniques, laboratory practices, and pharmaceutical microbiology, making it suitable for pharmacy students in their third semester.
