Network QoS Support for Kubernetes Applications

This course focuses on teaching network Quality of Service (QoS) support for Kubernetes applications. By the end of the course, learners will understand how to implement traffic shaping for applications in Kubernetes by adding bandwidth-related annotations to Pod metadata. The course covers the implementation of a CNI plugin using Linux tc to create rate limiters for both ingress and egress traffic. The teaching method involves a presentation on the implementation process and integration with Kubernetes, led by Kubernetes SIG Network.
