Overview
This course covers iterative methods for linear systems, interpolation techniques, and numerical integration using Matlab. Students will learn how to implement Jacobi, Gauss Seidel, and Relaxation methods for linear systems, as well as Newton and Lagrange interpolating polynomials. They will also gain hands-on experience with Trapezoid and Simpson's 1/3 Rule for numerical integration using Matlab. The teaching method involves lectures and Matlab implementations. This course is intended for learners interested in numerical analysis and computational mathematics, particularly those looking to apply these techniques using Matlab.
